shojono tomo news: nicki minaj wears enocdouter to mtv vmas 2011

nicki minaj created a shojono tomo frenzy this weekend when she wore her enocdouter designs to mtv video music awards. we cannot thank nicki and her team of amazing stylists enough for this opportunity. nicki is a true fan of japanese fashion and the intense (sometimes, crazy) creativity that goes into tomo's one of a kind pieces. incase you live under a rock, here's our favorite photos from mtv.

all over the internet, people are asking what the heck nicki was wearing? to give credit where credit is due, nicki mixed some other designers into her look. her icecream necklace is by our close friend onch movement, dress by amato haute couture, and bracelets by fifi & romeo. shojono tomo breaks it down for you at her japanese blog: shojono tomo face mask, "witch-kitty" plush, "porno" hotpants, "marry me" socks, and her "leggers" (leg warmers) invention, which i personally rate as genius.
