"one day, my mother said "let's make cookies." she gave me some dye and we made heart-shaped cookies with it. it was a sweet memory. it made me think about the relationship between food and love. i cut an apron using a dress, some news paper, and dye, like the cookies. just like magic, the apron transforms you into a child with a sweet memory." - shojono tomo

above photos: courtesy shojono tomothanks to everyone who emailed compliments and inquiries about shojono tomo's aprons. as they are a discontinued item, we do not plan to sell aprons in the usa at this time. the good news is onch movement has a webshop full of yummy pretzel necklaces. shojono tomo's usa webshop launch is taking a little longer than we expected, but it is coming. visit our artwork webshop to check out shojono tomo's new paintings, until then.
