for shojono tomo fans, this exhibit is also a rare opportunity to see tomo's plush in person. a tomo plush completed nicki minaj's crazy mtv vmas outfit earlier this year. what you didn't see on tv is the mechanics behind a tomo doll- often embellished with mobile parts, voice boxes, and artwork. dragatomi is now selling tomo's "tennis squeeze" doll, based on her original 2008 illustration.

artist: shojono tomothis illustration is also the design of shojono tomo's new leggings, to be released just in time for christmas at her new webshop. for this shop, we chose all of nicki minaj's favorite items. after many months of planning and bringing her designs to mass, you too can now wear shojono tomo fashions. the shop opens december 1st, 2011- and dragatomi's plush-o-rama exhibits until december 3rd, 2011.
